Our products are sold under the following terms & conditions, by purchasing one of our products you agree to abide by these terms.

 

PERSONALISATION

All personalised, made to order jewellery is excluded from our refund and exchanges policy. When ordering a personalised product, you will be asked to confirm that the wording is correct and acknowledge that mistakes cannot be rectified after placing your order.

For our hand stamping and handwriting services, please note that these are handcrafted and are not done by a machine so there may be imperfections.

BESPOKE

Bespoke commissions include products that have been made to order according to customer specifications, including personalised design, metal and stones.

Please note that deposits of 25% are required for all bespoke pieces upon selecting your stone and full payment will be required prior to receiving your order. Whilst we are committed to working with any given budget, we are only able to use recycled silver, gold or platinum and natural gemstones.

All Bespoke commissions are exempt from our refund and exchanges policy.

We pride ourselves on our authenticity meaning bespoke commissions must not be direct copies of another jeweller’s design. We instead endeavour to work with our customers to create timeless designs that tell your own unique story.

Copyright is retained by Daniella Draper on all creative design work for bespoke designs including sketches, concepts, samples and products unless specifically released in writing and after all costs have been settled.

WARRANTY

All our jewellery comes with a twelve month warranty period from the date of purchase. For any items that prove to be defective under normal use and care due to improper material or workmanship, we will repair or replace your item at no charge.

CARE

To help protect your jewellery, ensure that it is kept clean and free from creams, lotions, oils, perfumes, chemicals and make-up. We recommend that you remove your jewellery when showering or participating in heavy exercise to prevent tarnishing. 

We recommend that you store your jewellery separately in its original packaging so that it doesn’t get scratched or tangled.  Keep your jewellery out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Please note that silver jewellery will naturally tarnish over time.

HOLIDAY CARE

Ensure that your jewellery is kept free from sun cream and after sun lotion. Avoid wearing in the sea or in chlorinated swimming pools and jacuzzis.

WEAR & TEAR

It is not recommended that you wear your jewellery when participating in sports, sleeping or swimming. Also avoid contact with creams, perfume and make-up. Avoid running the charm along the chain/bangle as this will wear out the silver. Solvents, bleaches, household chemicals and cleaning products can tarnish silver. Some skin types can make the silver go black - this is only surface discolouration and can easily be removed with a soft, clean cloth.   

RETURNS

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, items can be returned unworn and in perfect condition in the original packaging within 28 days of purchase.

If you are posting the item back to us, we recommend that you use a secure, trackable method and insure the item(s) as we cannot be held responsible for loss in transit. Please retain your proof of postage receipt until your refund has been fully processed.

BLACK FRIDAY / THE ARCHIVE DROP STOCK

All Black Friday or The Archive Drop reduced price stock cannot be returned or exchanged.

EXCHANGES

If you wish to exchange your item for a different piece, this can be done up to 28 days from purchase providing that the item has not been worn, is in perfect condition and is returned in the original packaging.

If the value of the new item exceeds the original, you will be required to pay the difference. If the value of the new item is lower than the original piece, the difference will be credited to the credit or debit card originally used for the purchase or a credit note issued.

CHILDREN'S JEWELLERY

When purchasing jewellery from our Children's Collection, please follow the safety guidelines below:

  • Our jewellery is not recommended to any child under the age of 3 years old.
  • Earrings and any jewellery with small parts are not suitable for children under 3 years old and may present a choking hazard.
  • Jewellery is not a toy and should not be worn for play and extended periods of wear over 24 hours.
  • Children’s jewellery should not be worn whilst sleeping and adult supervision is recommended at all times.
  • Earrings should be cleaned frequently to help prevent infection. Simply clean them with warm water and mild soap before rinsing thoroughly with warm water and drying with a Daniella Draper polishing cloth.
  • When fitting earrings for children over the age of 3 years old please be careful when pushing the backs onto the stems as earrings that are worn too tight may become embedded in the earlobe.
  • Do not allow children to put jewellery in their mouths as small parts can quickly become choking hazards.
  • Please ensure jewellery doesn’t become too tight as they grow.

CUSTOMS CHARGES

International customers from countries such as America, Australia, New Zealand and Switzerland may be asked to pay customs charges. This is the customer's responsibility and by purchasing from Daniella Draper, you are agreeing to pay these additional charges.

FAULTY ITEMS

We have a thorough quality management system in place and all items are checked before leaving the workshop as we pride ourselves on producing handcrafted products of the highest quality and attention to detail.

Items are classed as faulty if they are received damaged or if a manufacturing fault happens within three months of purchase. In this instance, we will repair or replace the item(s) free of charge. Please note that items damaged as a result of not following our care guidelines or general wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately.

EAR PIERCING

Our Grimsby Store is home to the DD Piercing Studio and is open every Friday and Saturday from 10am until 5pm. For appointments, please call us or walk-in appointments are also available.

Please note that piercings are currently available to those aged 6 and over only. Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and ID is required at appointment.

Prices start at £25.00.

SIGNATURE BANGLES

Prior to ordering your Signature Bangle, please ensure that you order the correct size by measuring the circumference of your wrist and deducting 1.5cm - 2cm or visit one of our stores. 

Do not bend or change the shape of the bangle as this may cause it to snap. Please note that snapped bangles cannot be repaired.

GIFT CARDS & E-VOUCHERS

Daniella Draper Gift Cards & E-Vouchers are redeemable within all Daniella Draper stores and on the Daniella Draper website. Please note that they are excluded from our refund and exchanges policy, are non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Daniella Draper Gift Cards & E-Vouchers do not have an expiry date. You can  check your balance in any Daniella Draper store or by calling our Customer Service team between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
