Protecting what inspires us

At Daniella Draper, sustainability isn’t just a commitment; it’s a guiding force behind everything we do. On World Ocean Day, we’re taking a moment to honour one of the Earth’s most powerful and precious ecosystems: our oceans.

Covering over 70% of the planet’s surface, the ocean is not only a vital source of life, it’s also one of our greatest inspirations. Many of Daniella’s signature designs have been shaped by the sea, from intricate shells and delicate starfish to timeless anchors. These pieces aren’t just jewellery; they’re quiet tributes to the tides that shape our world.

With roots in Cleethorpes, a coastal town where land meets sea, our connection to the ocean runs deep. It’s more than a backdrop: it’s part of our story. That’s why we’re committed to protecting it, not just today, but every day. Whether it’s through thoughtful design, responsible sourcing or our packaging choices, we strive to place the planet, particularly its oceans, at the heart of every decision we make.

This World Ocean Day, we invite you to join us in reflecting on what the ocean gives us - and what we can do in return.

The Beach Clean

Team DD headed to Cleethorpes beach to take part in a beach clean in support of World Ocean Day. Small activities like this can have a big impact on our environment, helping to keep our beaches cleaner, safer and more beautiful for everyone to enjoy. It’s a reminder that change doesn’t always come from grand gestures; it often starts with simple actions close to home.

This World Ocean Day, we encourage you to consider how you can help protect our oceans; whether it’s through a local beach clean, reducing plastic use or simply spreading awareness.

Together, we can protect what inspires us.

A Gift for the Future

As part of our ongoing commitment to ocean conservation, ‘Neptune the Whale’ holds special significance this World Ocean Day. Handcrafted in England from recycled sterling silver, Neptune is the first character in our A Gift for the Future collection; a timeless keepsake inspired by the majesty of the blue whale and named after the god of the sea.

More than a beautiful trinket, Neptune symbolises our promise to protect the oceans that inspire us. We’re proud to support the Marine Conservation Society, donating 10% of proceeds from every Neptune sold to help safeguard marine wildlife.

Each piece arrives in sustainably sourced packaging and includes a heartfelt poem written by Daniella herself. Neptune is a small reminder that the choices we make today can shape a better future for our seas.
