The VM will work alongside the business Directors and Product team, and will curate and craft a compelling environment for the stores through application. The VM will work closely with the Retail teams while executing displays in store as well as working with budgets to ensure displays are delivered effectively.
Job Specification:
• Display – Proactively manage the store environment and across other locations.
Having shared responsibility with the Area Managers, the Visual Merchandiser
will focus on the delivery of seasonal display concepts through effective time
management and planning. Interpret company direction and updates to ensure displays create an artistic and unique environment that has a positive impact on sales. Ensure excellent craftsmanship throughout all windows and in-store displays.
• Training – Working to inspire, train and develop existing Store teams. Be the point of contact to pass on ideas and feedback to the product team and the Directors. Nurturing talent within the team. Looping in store teams on display projects.
• Project Management / Team Leader – Effectively delegate projects while at the
same time allowing others the creativity to succeed by making their own decisions.
• Display Feedback – Giving constructive feedback to the store staff. Ensuring
store proposals are consistent and true to concept.
• New Store Openings & Special Projects – Implementing new store openings,
in-store and off cycle set-ups with particular focus on new initiatives being
implemented to enhance the Daniella Draper experience.
• Managing the Environment – Efficiently utilise all display materials, including
adaptations from recycled displays. Keep work areas on and off the shop floor
organised and clean, with an emphasis on customer and employee safety.
Maintain an organised display room. Implement displays safely and with
longevity in mind.
• Display Prototyping & Fixture Design – Hands on exploring new materials and
production processes to further the Daniella Draper experience.
• Budgets – Manage project display budgets and coding payments.
• Procurement – be responsible (together with the product team) ordering
Display and VM materials for UK.
• Operations – supporting sales generation by creating an environment that
supports the appearance of the product and reflects the customer lifestyle and
interests. Aware of stock loss goals, avoid display creating blind spots for sales
associates and CCTV. Planning customer flow with the Store and Area
Manager’s. Working with store team to assist in reaching sales target.
What You'll Need:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a VM or in the design field
• Strong Artistic background with an understanding in multiple mediums both 2D and 3D with desire to learn more.

Administrative Support:

As a Stock Merchandiser you will be responsible for ensuring the right products are available in the right stores, at the right time, and in the right quantities, working closely with suppliers. Your role will involve making key decisions about pricing and planning/managing stock levels to maximise sales.
Responsibilities-
- Working with the product team to range plan and quantify stock ordering accurately reflecting business targets
- Work with the wider Product team to input product data into our ERP system accurately and in a timely manner in support of new launches and releases.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder points in DD stores and our workshop to alert of low stock or discrepancies
- Generate purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation of the procurement process.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery with an accurate OTIF rate (on time in full).
- Assist with receiving deliveries: check quantities, match items with packing slips, and inspect for damage.
- Ensure all items are correctly tagged with the correct SKU codes
- Conduct regular stock counts and oversee all store audits
- Handle high-value items with discretion and follow all security procedures.
- Investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies, including damaged or missing items.
- Generate regular reports on inventory health, shrinkage, and product movement.
- Maintain logs of stock-related activities, including damage reports, transfers, and adjustments.
- Analyse sales, product sell-through rates to drive and manage optimal inventory across our business.
- Utilise optimal stock allocation for each store and allow for rapid growth and expansion of all revenue streams.
- Maintain and work with suppliers regularly to ensure all stock levels are up to date and iventory integrity is maintained

- At least 2 years’ experience in a stock merchandising role or similar
