Simple steps on how to achieve the best results from your handwriting.
1 - Lighting
Ensure you are in a well lit room. We find natural light is best!
Be mindful of shadows on your paper as they can be picked up by our engraver.
2 - Pen & Paper
Use a black, thick nibbed pen and plain piece of white paper. Please do not use lined paper.
3 - Sizing & Placement
Ensure your handwriting suits your chosen product. E.g. Writing in a straight line for a bangle or keeping the area smaller for a charm.
Be mindful of letters with drops & loops e.g. g & y. These characters can push the engraving too high.

Placing your order with an ink pad:
Once your ink pad arrives, place it ink-side down onto the white card provided.
Gently take your pet’s paw and press it onto the surface of the ink pad. Apply light, even pressure for a few seconds to ensure the full paw print transfers onto the card. Carefully lift their paw away to reveal the print.
Within a week of receiving your ink pad in the post, you will receive an email from us with instructions on how to send your scanned paw print image.
All ink is pet-safe, non-toxic, and non-transferable, keeping your pet’s paws clean and protected.
