Fiona Jamison / 25 years / Ski Coach
Fiona grew up skiing every winter with her family where her dad had a no-stopping policy. He worked out what it cost per minute up the mountain, so stopping was not an option! This gave Fiona a hard-core approach to skiing and she joined Warren Smith’s Ski Academy in Verbier. Fiona became the first ever female coach for WSSA, joining an elite team of 5 professional male coaches.
Fiona instantly won them over with her skiing, charm and zest for life. Her clients now include some of the world’s biggest hitters, and even the Royal Family! Fiona is an inspiration to all women, and also to all guys as she lives the dream in the mountains, doing what she loves every day and not conforming to the norm. Constantly having (as she would call them) ‘loving life moments.’ Get to know her a little better right here.
FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out)
I hate missing out on something; knowing I had the opportunity to do something and didn’t. Some of the coolest and best experiences I’ve had have been thanks to FOMO.
Renovating our 70’s ski chalet in Verbier.

FAVOURITE CITY AND WHY
Verbier isn’t a city but it’s my favorite place in the world. Such great skiing in the winter, and super mountain bike terrain in the summer.
THREE PIECES OF ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE TO YOUR YOUNGER SELF
Say yes to as much as you can, go outside and explore, and enjoy your work!
Skiing and mountain biking!
My mum and dad.
MOST INSPIRING PERSON YOU HAVE MET SO FAR
It has to be the GB Paralympic Team; I trained them last year in Austria. They skied the course so fast, despite their disabilities. Sometimes through the day I would get tired and then look over to them and couldn’t believe what super humans they were! It kept me going!
BRAVEST/SCARIEST THING YOU'VE DONE
Doing my first ever Freeride skiing competition
Llandegfan – Isle of Angelsey
